1. Information We Collect

When you build a website, we collect the business details you type in and the public details of the Google listing you pick. When you claim one, we collect your name, email address and phone number, and if you tick a consent box we record that you gave permission to be contacted by text message, and when.

When somebody fills in the form on your published website, we collect what they typed: their name, phone number, email address and message.

We also collect basic technical information automatically, such as IP address, browser type and which pages were visited. This comes from cookies and standard website logs.

2. How We Use It

We use it to build and run your website, to send you the enquiries it receives, to take payment, to answer you when you contact us, and to keep the service working and free of abuse. If you consented to text messages, we use your phone number to send the kinds of message described in that consent, and nothing else.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are never shared with anyone.

3. Who We Share It With

We do not sell your details. We share them with the companies that provide the service for us, which between them host the websites, register the domains, store the data, take the payments, send our email and keep the service secure, and only so they can do that work. We also use ordinary advertising and analytics tools on Contrasite's own website, which we do not put on a website we build for a business.

4. Cookies

We use cookies to keep you signed in, to understand which pages people find useful and to measure our own advertising. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some parts of the service may not work as well if you do.

5. Text Messaging and Your Consent

Consent to receive text messages is never a condition of buying anything from us. You can withdraw it at any time by replying STOP to any message we send. Reply HELP for assistance, or email us at gozie@contrasite.com. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

6. Our Emails to You

We email you the code that signs you in, the leads your website receives, anything that happens to your subscription, and occasional messages about the service. You can ask us to stop the last of those at any time by replying to one of them or emailing gozie@contrasite.com.

7. Data Security

We take reasonable steps to protect what you send us, but no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Keeping It, and Getting Rid of It

We keep your website and your leads for as long as you have an account with us, including after a subscription stops, so that paying again puts everything back as it was. You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email gozie@contrasite.com and we will take care of it.

9. Children's Privacy

This service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

10. Changes to This Policy

If we change this policy, the updated version will appear on this page.
